Our Principal Message
Chris Albertus Campher
ADNOC School – RW Principal
A very warm welcome to ADNOC Schools – Ruwais Campus.
At Ruwais, we believe education should be ambitious, purposeful, and deeply connected to who our students are and who they are becoming. Our aim is to develop confident, capable, and principled young people who achieve academically, think independently, and are prepared to contribute meaningfully to the future of the UAE and beyond.
Our educational approach reflects the values, culture, and heritage of the UAE, including the importance of Islamic values, while fostering an inclusive community in which every student is respected and valued. We seek to develop students who demonstrate integrity, responsibility, compassion, resilience, and respect for others.
Arabic and English are central to learning at Ruwais. They are not only subjects, but essential tools for accessing knowledge, communicating ideas, expressing identity, and opening pathways to future opportunity.
Through the Massachusetts Curricular Framework, we provide a rigorous academic foundation that promotes inquiry, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. STEM is a central part of this learning experience, encouraging students to investigate, design, innovate, collaborate, and apply their knowledge to authentic challenges.
We are committed to ensuring that every student has the tools, support, and challenge needed to access learning successfully. High-quality teaching, purposeful use of technology, strong literacy, and an understanding of individual learning needs help every student to participate, progress, and achieve.
Strong schools are built through partnership. By working closely with our students, families, staff, and the wider Ruwais community, we create a culture of high expectations, belonging, and shared responsibility.
Our ambition is for every student to leave Ruwais confident in who they are, respectful of the values and heritage of the UAE, proficient in Arabic and English, strong in STEM and future-ready skills, and prepared to make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world.
