Huge congratulations to the talented girls on the ADNOC School Ruwais basketball team!

On Friday, October 3rd, players Sarah Jamal and Adela Arafia absolutely shined at the Jr. NBA “Hot Shot Challenge” Final at the NBA District, Abu Dhabi. Guided by their amazing coach, Ms. Ioana Morna, our determined players remained focused through a tight competition and scored the highest number of points to secure the win!

Their amazing performance was even watched closely by famous New York Knicks NBA Players: Kevin McCullar Jr. and Pacome Dadiet!

Following the challenge, the entire team participated in the inspiring Jr. NBA event, “Her Time to Play”, at NYU Abu Dhabi. Our girls had the incredible opportunity to meet and be inspired by former British and Emirates basketball players whose speeches truly motivated all the young athletes. The day wrapped up with a fantastic, combined training session with players from different Abu Dhabi schools.

What a memorable day to meet their idols just before the next Jr. NBA season kicks off! We are eagerly looking forward to Draft Day!
